Advertising disclosure
Last updated: August 2026
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and material connections, here is exactly how this publication makes money.
Sponsored articles
Some articles on The Life Angle are sponsored. Every one of them is labelled "Paid partner content" above the headline — before you read a single sentence — and carries a disclosure at the end. These articles are advertising, and links within them lead to sellers' own websites.
Commissions
When you buy a product through a link in a sponsored article, we may receive a commission from the seller or its affiliate network. This does not change the price you pay. It does mean we have a financial interest in those links, which is why we label them.
What sponsorship does not buy
Our independent editorial articles are not for sale, and sponsors do not review or approve them. The label is the boundary between the two, and keeping that boundary obvious is the whole reason readers can trust either side of it.
